Two Ways to Qualify

There are two ways to qualify for the Linzel “La Vida Loca” Rewards Trip. Purchase Redemption and Growth Redemption provide the same reward.

1. Purchase Redemption

Qualify by reaching the annual Kichler® purchase target. Qualifying purchases are calculated before tax and must be invoiced during the applicable calendar year.

Program Details & Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sign up for the program?

No. If you purchase directly through Linzel, we will automatically track your qualifying purchases and keep you informed of your Purchase Redemption and Growth Redemption status throughout the year.

I purchase through an approved Linzel Platinum Dealer. Do I need to sign up?

No. Linzel will work directly with your Platinum Dealer to track and report your qualifying purchases.

Does this replace the Kichler® LightPro Program?

No. The Linzel “La Vida Loca” Rewards Trip is completely independent of the Kichler® LightPro Program.

Eligible Kichler® purchases will continue to be reported to Kichler® and may count toward both the Kichler® LightPro Program and the Linzel Rewards Trip.

Where are we headed, and when is the rewards trip?

The 2027 rewards trip will take place from January 25 to February 1, 2027, at the Barceló Maya Palace in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The trip includes round-trip airfare from Toronto, scheduled group airport transfers, seven nights of all-inclusive accommodations, food and beverages.

Will I be able to pre-register?

Yes. Pre-registration is available and is strongly encouraged, as space is limited.

Do I need to attend any classes or sessions while on the trip?

Absolutely not. You have earned this vacation. Relax by the pool, enjoy the beach, explore the resort or spend time with fellow contractors and the Linzel team.

Does this trip include any excursions?

No. Optional excursions and activities may be purchased directly through the resort or an approved provider at your own discretion and expense.

Can I purchase additional trips, extend my vacation or upgrade my room?

Yes. Linzel’s travel partner can assist with:

  • Extending your stay before or after the rewards trip
  • Booking additional travellers
  • Room upgrades, subject to availability
  • Other travel arrangements

Any additional costs are the responsibility of the traveller and are payable directly to the travel partner.

Additional Traveller Pricing

Single Occupancy Upgrade:
An additional $964 CAD plus applicable taxes.

Child Rate, Ages 2–11:
$1,689 CAD plus applicable taxes per child.

Pricing is subject to availability and may change before final booking.

When is the trip signup deadline?

The registration deadline will be communicated to qualifying customers.

Space is limited and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers expecting to qualify are encouraged to pre-register as early as possible.

How many spots are available?

Space is limited. Trips are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until all available spots have been filled.

I have earned a trip but cannot attend. What happens?

Rewards trips cannot be transferred, carried forward, exchanged for cash or redeemed for account credit.

Who can attend the trip?

The rewards trip is intended for the business owner, operator or primary decision-maker.

Can I depart from another airport?

The rewards trip includes flights departing from and returning to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) only.

Guests choosing to depart from another airport are responsible for all additional airfare, transportation, accommodations and related expenses.

Are airport transfers included?

Yes. Linzel provides scheduled round-trip group bus transportation between Cancún International Airport and Barceló Maya Palace.

Individual transportation, including taxis, ride-share services and private shuttle transportation, is not covered.

What is the approximate value of the trip?

The estimated value of the rewards trip is approximately $2,500 CAD per person.

The rewards trip has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or account credit.

Rules & Regulations

  • Rewards are based on double occupancy only.
  • The maximum reward is one room, double occupancy, per qualifying company per calendar year.
  • Customers may qualify through either Purchase Redemption or Growth Redemption.
  • Qualifying purchases include Kichler® products purchased through Linzel or an approved Linzel Platinum Dealer.
  • Platinum Dealer purchases must be reported to Linzel to qualify.
  • Partnership Program purchases do not qualify.
  • Accounts must remain in good financial standing.
  • Purchase totals are calculated before tax using invoices dated between January 1 and December 31.
  • Growth targets are based on qualifying purchases from the previous calendar year.
  • Growth qualification requires previous calendar-year Kichler® purchases exceeding $5,000.
  • Future Purchase Redemption and Growth Redemption targets may change without notice.
  • Trips are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Trips cannot be transferred, carried forward, exchanged for cash or redeemed for account credit.
  • The rewards trip includes round-trip airfare departing from and returning to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) only.
  • Linzel provides scheduled round-trip group bus transportation between Cancún International Airport and Barceló Maya Palace.
  • Individual transportation expenses, including taxis, ride-share services and private shuttle transportation, are the responsibility of the traveller.
  • Single occupancy, child pricing, room upgrades, extended stays and additional travellers are available at the traveller’s expense and are subject to availability and pricing at the time of booking.
  • Linzel Distributing reserves the right to modify program qualifications, travel arrangements or rewards without notice.
  • The Linzel “La Vida Loca” Rewards Trip is administered solely by Linzel Distributing and operates independently of the Kichler® LightPro Program.
